What you will learn
- Students will learn surface design techniques using colorful slips and glazes to decorate their wheelthrown or handbuilt pieces.

Painting techniques explored include:
- Sgraffito & Mishima
- Marbling & splatter
- Image & slip layering
- Using clear coats, painting with glaze & layering glazes
- This is an all levels class! We recommend students to have taken at least one recent wheelthrowing class if working on the wheel!
What you will make

- Create test tiles & small forms for slip & glaze testing
