MADE in Clay Camp Ages 5-8
Kids will use basic ceramic skills such as coiling, building with slabs, and pinching to create unique works. They will have the opportunity to paint their creations to add color and character, create sketchbooks, design multimedia projects, and even enjoy watercolor projects. Every week has a new theme and afternoon and morning projects vary.
MADE in Clay Camp Ages 9-12
Kids will learn wheelthrowing skills to create cups, vases, bowls, and more. In addition, they’ll add hand-built, functional, and decorative elements and paint their projects with colorful slips and glazes. Creative sketchbooks and multimedia projects add extra fun to the camp experience.
About MADE Chicago Kids Camps
- Choose from half-day or combined full-day options (morning, lunch, and afternoon sessions).
- All instructors are CRP-certified and have passed thorough background checks.
- Strict security protocols: No outside visitors allowed during camp hours.
- Camps are peanut-free for a safe environment.
Our summer camps are held in a brand new, beautifully maintained facility located in Bucktown, Chicago. We pride ourselves on providing kids with a clean, safe space. Your kids will come home messy as they get hands-on with pottery!
Location & Hours:
MADE Chicago is located in Bucktown. Camp hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer half-day camps with a lunch hour option to combine a morning and afternoon camp for a full-day experience.
What’s Provided:
All materials and supplies including clay, glazes, and studio tools are included to ensure a safe, creative, and fun experience.
