What you will learn
- Create pottery using coiling, pinching, slab building, sculpture, and carving
- Decorate your ceramics with colored slips using basic surface techniques
- Come to class with ideas for projects and/or receive prompts and project ideas from your teacher
- Learn the basics of glazing ceramics, workability stages of clay, managing the drying process, controlling your piece’s edges, and how pieces are fired
