Woodworking III builds on the skills developed in Woodworking I and II while giving you more independence in the shop. Through guided projects and demonstrations, you will develop greater precision, explore more advanced joinery, build a small side table, and gain introductory experience on the lathe.
As the session progresses, students will also have dedicated time to develop and work on projects of their own choosing. Your instructor will help you refine your ideas, select appropriate materials and construction methods, plan a sequence of work, and troubleshoot challenges along the way.
All wood for class projects is provided, and an $84 materials fee has been added to tuition to cover the cost of materials. Additional hardwood will be available for purchase for independent projects.
